Setting for documentary

This is where I will be shooting the documentary about my granny in her living room. I will also follow her around to a couple place for b roll but the majority will be shot in this living room.

SCRIPT- "The Customer is always right"

Miley and Riley are going shopping at the Versace store and they run into a price issue with the sales associate Shannon. 

Miley: Oh my gosh Riley I Love this blouse its only $1,000! 

Riley: Girl you better get that its so cute! I can't believe its on sale

Miley: I know right I cant believe it either. I'm going to wear this to the party tonight and twerk all over the place because this sale just made my day. 

Riley: Yeaaaa baby! Lets go to the register girl I need to go nap before the festivities begin tonight. 

Miley: ok lets go girl! 

They get up to the register 

Shannon: Did you ladies find everything ok today? 

Miley: Why yes we did doll thanks for asking! 

Shannon: mhmm yea you're welcome. Well your total comes to $2,935.99 Miley. How would you like to pay today cash or credit?

Miley: Umm no that tag says $1,000 you need to adjust that price. 

Shannon: The tag is wrong! 

Miley: No no no! THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! Adjust the damn price or I'm not going to get the freakin shirt and I'm going to report you to your manager.

Shannon: Well in this situation ma'am you, the customer, are wrong. So you can get out of here with your cheap ass and I dont care if you report me 

Miley: Well FINE THEN! I'm outta here. I'm gone send some of my people out here on you whats your name ummm Shannon! Stupid ass, you aint about that life. 

Shannon: actually I am about that life twerkerella now dismiss yourself from the store right now. Oh and by the way I AM the manager. Have a great day. 

Documentary subjects?

Throwback picture! This is my mom, Pauletta Washington; it would be interesting to do a documentary on her because she is a very busy woman. She is a manager at TCU, I would follow her around and get her interacting with "the members" at the bank. Then get footage of her at home doing her motherly and wifely duties. I would also have her talk about life growing up being the only girl in the house besides my granny. She is real funny so this documentary would be hilarious.

This is my dad! He goes by the name of James Green. He is crazy but in a good way though. He's a manager at AT&T. He think he is a chef so I would have to get some footage of him in the kitchen. He got his cooking skills from my grandaddy :-). My daddy is very entertaining & silly.

Last but not least is my granny, Laura Brown. She was a teacher for a long time  so she has a lot of good stories to tell. My granny is the coolest granny on earth! She's not your typical senior citizen lol she has an instagram & facebook! I would have her talk about her life pretty much and how it felt to be the oldest of 11 kids growing up. She is also very funny, that's where my mama gets her sense of humor from. I come from a family of funny people so being silly kind of comes natural thanks to these lovely folks.

Emotion Photos: Happiness

I know to be happy is a basic emotion, but I feel like happiness is one of the most important emotions. If you're happy that means you are in a good state of mind at the moment. So here are some photos that will make you think HAPPY!

Idea # 6...

Since music is a form of media, I could create a song rapping or maybe singing about all the things I love in life. I bet this would be the best song ever created because it wouldn't be the typical love song about a guy but a love song about loving life! haha ! Then I would make a music video to go with it featuring Miley Cyrus and her wonderful twerking skills. I would feature all types of famous people in the music video but Miley would take the cake. I would feature my friends, my favorite rappers (Lil Wayne, Drake, Big Sean) and I would need Robin Thicke and his beetle juice suit to make an appearance. The video would be so good that it would make it to MTV and BET.  Cleary this video is not going to happen in reality but hey its an idea. Maybe the class should make a twerk video! Just kidding :)

Media Idea # 5...

My mom is the coolest lady I know. It would be awesome to do a little documentary about her life and follow her around for a day. The documentary would start out with her talking about her life growing up then about the things she went through in order to become the successful woman she is today. My mom is really funny so this wouldn't be one of those sad stories with the lady crying and talking about all her struggles in life. She would talk about all the good times she had as a child, raising her two children, and just about life in general.

Idea # 4! Welcome to The Bad Boys Club

I love reality television I think it's so funny because I know it's not very much reality in those shows. It would be funny to make like a spoof of Bad Girls Club and it would be "THE BAD BOYS CLUB" instead. It would be fiction and non-fiction because the characters would be playing themselves but some of the events would be scripted. We would put 7 guys in one house with cameras and make them argue over stupid stuff and get into fights with each other and with outsiders too. All the guys would need to be attractive because nobody wants to watch a bunch of funny looking men in one house. I feel like this needs to happen in real life haha!

Diva Days... Brainstorm #3

My dog her name is Diva and I know it would be awesome to do a media project on her. I would follow her around for a day and do a documentary on "A Day In the Life of Diva. " She is only one years old but she is the smartest dog ever. She is a Chihuahua/ Silky Terrier mix. The project would be linear and it would be non-fiction. I would interview the people that are the closest to her to get some extra insight on her life. Awww I love her so much she is truly like family to me. =)

Media Idea #2

Ok so like I think it would be cool to do a documentary on Wiz Khalifa starring Wiz himself. It would be non fiction because it would be all about him, all facts no fake stuff. He seems like a cool guy and he's a good dad and fiancé. I think he would be a good role model for young men if he didn't smoke so much marijuana, that's his only flaw. See that would be left out of the documentary of course, he could talk about it but he wouldn't be able to do it on camera hahaha! Clearly this documentary could only be shot in my imagination though because I don't know him! But its a cool idea though....

Brainstorming!! Day 1 (Mr. Squirrel)

Ok so I think it would be cool to do a media project about a talking squirrel trying to find some nuts. Clearly this would be fiction because squirrels can't talk, and it would probably be a cartoon. The little guy would travel all over the world trying to find all types of nuts so he can stock up for the winter. While on his travels, he would meet a nice lady squirrel and they will get married. She will then have kids, so they would need more nuts to feed the whole family. Hahahaha! I really don't like squirrels in reality but I watch them outside my window sometimes and I think they are funny little animals.

A little bit about me

HEY!! I'm Lauren Green and I am a Junior at IUSB and I'm a Mass communications major and a Dance minor. I am 20 years old and I guess I'm a pretty cool girl. I've been living in South Bend my entire life. I love music, but rap is my favorite. I shop like all the time probably because I work at the mall. My favorite movie of all time is Crooklyn (it's a Spike Lee joint) if you haven't seen it then you need to! I also like reality tv... Bad Girls Club and Basketball Wives ahhh yesss. I have a dog, her name is Diva and she is the craziest dog on earth! She is really little (like me) but she tough as heck.

In the future I would like to be like on the radio or on tv, I just really want to do something in the broadcasting field and hopefully make some big money!!! So that means me & South Bend will have to part :) Florida is my future residence. If the whole broadcasting thing doesn't work out then I could always be a dancer (not a stripper though). Oh by the way I'm very silly so I laugh at pretty much everything, maybe I could be like a professional laugher if that is possible? Who knows! Well that's enough about me... I'M OUT!
